Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by peeling away the loose outer layers from the garlic bulb, ensuring you don’t remove the entire outer surface.
  2. Carefully slice off the top ¼ inch of the garlic head, exposing the individual cloves inside.
  3. Place the garlic bulb on a piece of aluminum foil and drizzle the top with ½ tablespoon of olive oil.
  4. Wrap the aluminum foil tightly around the garlic bulb, sealing it to trap the steam inside.
  5. Set your air fryer to preheat at 390°F (200°C).
  6. Place the wrapped garlic in the air fryer basket and cook for 20-30 minutes.
  7. Once cooked, remove the garlic from the air fryer and let it cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  8. Using a butter knife or spoon, carefully extract the roasted garlic cloves from their skins.
  9. If you have any leftovers, store your roasted garlic in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
