Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by peeling away the loose outer layers from the garlic bulb, ensuring you don’t remove the entire outer surface.
- Carefully slice off the top ¼ inch of the garlic head, exposing the individual cloves inside.
- Place the garlic bulb on a piece of aluminum foil and drizzle the top with ½ tablespoon of olive oil.
- Wrap the aluminum foil tightly around the garlic bulb, sealing it to trap the steam inside.
- Set your air fryer to preheat at 390°F (200°C).
- Place the wrapped garlic in the air fryer basket and cook for 20-30 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the garlic from the air fryer and let it cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
- Using a butter knife or spoon, carefully extract the roasted garlic cloves from their skins.
- If you have any leftovers, store your roasted garlic in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
