Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into suitable rectangles.
  3. Grease the baking dish or ramekins with butter.
  4. Arrange the puff pastry in the greased dish.
  5. Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, thyme, and chives in a bowl.
  6. Fold in the shredded cheese, reserving some for topping.
  7. Pour the egg mixture into the pastry cases.
  8. Sprinkle the reserved cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and set.
  10. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before presenting.
