Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Tear or cut half of the brioche bread into bite-sized cubes and layer them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle cubes of cream cheese and half of the chopped strawberries on top of the bread layer.
  4. Top with the remaining bread cubes, covering the filling completely.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the beaten eggs, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and kosher salt. Whisk until well blended.
  6. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the layered bread, ensuring all pieces are soaked.
  7. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  8. Remove from the fridge about 30 minutes before baking, cover with foil, and let sit at room temperature.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes covered, then remove foil and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes until golden-brown.
  10. Let cool slightly, garnish with remaining strawberries and a dusting of confectioners' sugar before serving.
