Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and adjust the rack to the upper third position.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  3. On a large baking tray, spread out thickly sliced onions and colorful peppers.
  4. Place the tilapia fillets on top of the arranged vegetables and brush or spoon the prepared marinade over both sides of the fish.
  5. Arrange fresh lemon slices on top of the marinated fillets.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the fish is opaque and flaky.
