  1. Rinse 1 cup of jasmine rice under cold water until clear. Combine rice with 2 cups beef broth in a saucepan. Boil, then simmer covered for 15 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet. Add 1 diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add 1 pound ground beef to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
