Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. Tear half of the croissants into bite-sized pieces and arrange at the bottom of the dish.
  3. Sprinkle half of the mixed berries over the croissant layer.
  4. Add remaining croissant pieces on top, followed by the rest of the berries.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, then add milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Combine until creamy.
  6. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the layered croissants and berries, pressing down lightly.
  7. Let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
  8. Bake for approximately 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown and set.
  9. Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar and serving with maple syrup.
