- Spread the mixed berry preserves evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Brush with melted butter and vanilla extract.
- Slice the pastry into 8 equal strips, twist each strip several times to form spirals.
- Arrange the twisted pastries on the baking sheet, brush with the egg wash, and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
