Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 4 fillets Salmon Fillets (skin on) fresh or thawed frozen works best
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil can substitute with canola or vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning adjust according to spice preference
  • Salt to taste
For the Honey Butter Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons Butter for creamy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey can substitute with maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce use coconut aminos for gluten-free option
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) garlic powder can be substituted
  • 0.5 lemons Lemon Juice juice of half a lemon
For Garnish
  • Fresh Parsley (chopped) for freshness and color
  • Lemon Wedges for serving
  • Black Sesame Seeds optional for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, drizzle olive oil over each fillet, and season with Cajun seasoning and salt.
  2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side up in the skillet and sear for about 3 minutes until golden.
  3. Flip the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the skin crisps up and the salmon begins to flake.
  4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic, and simmer for about 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Pour the honey butter sauce over the salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, spooning sauce over the fillets.
  6. Once the salmon is cooked through, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges and sesame seeds as garnish.
