  • salt to taste

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  4. Stir in the corn kernels and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Fold in the sautéed onion and corn mixture, and cheddar cheese.
  7. Pour the filling into the greased pie dish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
