- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, diced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture into the greased baking dish and press it down evenly to form a uniform layer.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the meatloaf mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots and return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until melted.
- Allow the dish to rest for about 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
