- Unroll the crescent dough, place an apple slice on each triangle, and roll them up tightly.
- Arrange the rolled dumplings in the prepared baking dish snugly.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan, stir in sugar and cinnamon; pour over dumplings.
- Pour Mountain Dew over the dumplings evenly to soak in the syrup.
