  • 2 cups Cooked Rice white or brown
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets fresh or frozen
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup or cream of chicken for healthier twist
  • 1 cup Milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese (shredded) use additional for topping
For Topping
  • 1 cup Additional Cheddar Cheese

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked rice, broccoli florets, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts slightly into the mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5-10 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
