Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) with top and bottom heat. Prepare your baking dish by lightly greasing it.
  2. Chop the ham into small pieces and halve the cherry tomatoes. Thaw the frozen spinach slightly.
  3. In a large baking dish, combine the cream cheese, spinach, fresh Spätzle, and halved cherry tomatoes. Pour over the milk and cream, then season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir the casserole and sprinkle the grated low-fat cheese over the top.
  6. Return the casserole to the oven for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs.
