Step-by-Step Instructions for Air Fryer Carrots
- Begin by washing and peeling the carrots. Cut them into even sticks by halving each carrot lengthwise, then slicing these halves into thirds.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Add the carrot sticks to the bowl with the seasoning mixture and toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and spray or lightly coat the basket with cooking oil.
- Place the seasoned carrot sticks in a single layer in the basket. Cook for 7 minutes, then shake the basket and cook for another 8 minutes, or until tender and crispy.
- Check after 15 minutes. If not done, air fry an additional 2-3 minutes until preferred doneness is achieved.
- Transfer the crispy air fryer carrots to a serving plate. Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm.
