Preparation
  1. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place the fillets skin-side down on a plate to come to room temperature while you prepare the glaze.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, low-sodium soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat two tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil shimmers, carefully add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4 minutes.
  4. Gently flip the salmon fillets over using a spatula. Brush half of the prepared glaze on the cooked side and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  5. Once cooked through, drizzle the remaining glaze over the salmon and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve immediately.
