Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Create a coating station with three shallow bowls: flour in the first, whisked eggs and Dijon mustard in the second, and crushed pretzels with garlic and onion powder in the third.
- Coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the egg-mustard mixture and finally coat with the pretzel mix.
- Let the coated chicken rest on a plate for about 10 minutes.
- Transfer the coated chicken to the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Prepare the mustard-cheddar sauce by combining milk, shredded cheddar, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until melted and thickened.
- After baking, let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes, drizzle with sauce, and serve.
