  • 300 g Boneless White Fish Firm white fish like cod or haddock
  • ¾ cup Panko Breadcrumbs For crispy coating
  • 6 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour
  • 2 tablespoons Dried Parsley Fresh parsley can also be used
  • 1 Egg Can use a flax egg for a vegan version
  • 2 tablespoons Milk Any milk alternative works well
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar Apple cider vinegar is a good substitute
  • 1-2 teaspoons Peri Peri Seasoning Adjust to your heat preference
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste Freshly minced ginger and garlic can be used
  • ½ teaspoon Salt Adjust according to taste
  • ½ teaspoon Crushed Black Pepper White pepper can be used as an alternative

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Combine 1 teaspoon of vinegar, 1-2 teaspoons of peri peri seasoning, 1 teaspoon of ginger garlic paste, ½ teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of crushed black pepper in a mixing bowl. Toss in 300g of boneless white fish to coat.
  2. In another bowl, mix together ¾ cup of panko breadcrumbs, 6 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, and 2 tablespoons of dried parsley.
  3. Whisk together 1 egg and 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth to create the binder for the nuggets.
  4. Dip the seasoned fish into the egg mixture and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. For deep frying, heat oil to 180°C (350°F) and fry the nuggets for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For air frying, preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F) and cook for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. For baking, preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite dip.
