For the Crust
  • 24 cookies Oreo Cookies Crushed for the base.
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Melted.
For the Filling
  • 8 ounces Dark Chocolate Chopped.
  • 8 ounces Brick-Style Cream Cheese Full-fat, softened.
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream Cold before whipping.
  • 2 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream or Kahlua Optional.
  • 1 pinch Salt To enhance flavor.
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the 9x9-inch baking pan by lining it with aluminum foil and spraying it lightly with cooking spray.
  2. Blend 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and combine with melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Beat 8 ounces of cream cheese with an electric mixer until fluffy and smooth.
  4. Melt 8 ounces dark chocolate with 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream in a microwavable bowl until smooth.
  5. Combine the melted chocolate with the cream cheese and add optional Baileys or Kahlua and salt.
  6. Spread the chocolate filling over the crust and sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
  7. Refrigerate the bars for at least 3 hours until firm.
  8. Lift the bars out of the pan using the foil, cut into squares, and serve chilled.
