  • 1 cup Brown sugar Use light or dark brown sugar.
  • 1/2 cup Corn syrup Maple syrup or honey are alternatives.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Melted butter Essential ingredient.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Optional.
  • 1 pinch Salt
Dough
  • 1 package Refrigerated crescent roll dough Classic dough works best.
Optional Garnish
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar For glazing if desired.

Method
 

Baking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and optional cinnamon.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Place one tablespoon of pecan filling at the wide end of each triangle and press it down.
  5. Roll the triangle tightly from wide end to tip, sealing the filling inside.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
