  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can use different oil if desired.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) for even baking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, Parmesan, parsley, basil, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  3. Pound chicken breasts to about ½ inch thickness between plastic wrap.
  4. Spread ricotta filling over chicken, roll tightly, and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Sear the rolls in heated olive oil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Place seared rolls in a baking dish, cover with marinara sauce, and bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rolls rest for a few minutes, then remove toothpicks before serving.
