Preparation Steps
- Begin by peeling and chopping 2 cups of fresh ripe pineapple into chunks and slicing 2 cups of fresh strawberries. Place both into a high-speed blender and add 2 cups of cold water. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth.
- Set a fine mesh sieve over a large pitcher and pour the blended mixture through it, pressing with a spoon to extract as much juice as possible.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of cold water, stir in granulated sugar to taste, and add the juice of one lime. Mix well until the sugar fully dissolves.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary, adding more sugar gradually if desired.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Serve over ice cubes, garnished with fresh mint leaves if desired.
