Step-by-Step Instructions for Puff Pastry Stars
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the thawed puff pastry and cut into star shapes 2–3 inches in size.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, goat cheese, herbs, and cooked sausage; mix until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each pastry star and fold the points over to seal.
  5. Apply egg wash with a pastry brush and sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
