  • 1/2 cup Sugar Coconut sugar is a great alternative
  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder Use fresh for best results
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract Almond extract for variation
  • 1 cup Flour All-purpose or gluten-free flour recommended
  • 1 cup Blueberries Do not thaw if using frozen
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Adjust amount based on preference
  • 2 tbsp Milk (for Glaze) Almond or oat milk works perfectly

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted vegan butter, almond or oat milk, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Gradually mix in the flour, stirring gently until just combined. Do not over-mix.
  4. Fold in the blueberries gently, ensuring they are evenly spaced throughout the batter.
  5. Grease donut molds and pour the batter into each cavity, filling them about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for approximately 20 minutes until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool in the molds for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack.
  8. Prepare the glaze using powdered sugar and almond milk, drizzle over the donuts once cooled.
