  • 2 tablespoons white granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup milk whole, 2%, or almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined and lump-free.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, folding until just combined. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Pour about ⅓ cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form and edges are set, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Flip pancakes, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Keep warm.
  7. Serve pancakes warm with butter, maple syrup, and fresh fruit.
