  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper Substitution: White pepper can be used.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl or mason jar, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, the juice and zest of lemon, and minced garlic. Add dried oregano, paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper. Whisk vigorously or seal the jar and shake until smooth.
  2. Take the chicken and place it into a zip-top bag or shallow dish. Ensure the chicken is evenly spread for the marinade to coat properly.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring every piece is coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, massaging the bag gently to distribute the marinade.
  4. Refrigerate the chicken for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 24 hours for better flavor.
  5. Preheat your grill, oven, or skillet. Grill chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  6. Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving with pita and a salad or in wraps.
