- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add 10 ounces of mini marshmallows. Stir continuously until smooth, about 3-5 minutes. Add green food coloring and mix.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and gently fold in 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal until evenly coated. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Using greased hands or a spatula, press the mixture evenly into the baking dish. Allow to cool for about 30 minutes until set.
- Once cooled, cut the Rice Krispie treat into squares, approximately 2 inches wide, and set aside while preparing decorations.
- Melt chocolate melts according to package instructions. Drizzle over the bars and place candy eyes on top. Use black licorice for hair and mouth details.
