  • 1.5 pounds Chicken breast Can substitute with chicken thighs for extra juiciness.

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Maple syrup can be used as a vegan alternative.
  • 1 large Lemon juice Can substitute with lime juice.
  • 2 teaspoons Oregano Dried or fresh works; thyme can be a variation.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Can swap with cayenne or smoked paprika.
  • Salt Adjust to taste.
  • Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • Rosemary Optional; can replace with other herbs.
For Cooking
  • Wooden skewers Soak in water for at least 30 minutes.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, honey, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper until creamy and well-combined.
  2. Cut chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade, coating thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
  4. Thread marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, 4 to 5 pieces per skewer, for even cooking.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium heat (350°F to 400°F). Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until golden and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill and let the kabobs rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
