For Skewers
  • 6 pieces Wooden or Metal Skewers Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes.
Optional Vegetables
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Add for nutrition.
  • 1 cup Zucchini Perfect for color.
  • 1 cup Onions Toss in for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation and Cooking
  1. Cut the boneless skinless chicken thighs into 1-inch pieces.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken pieces and toss until well coated. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F).
  5. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, adding veggies if desired.
  6. Place skewers onto the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.
  7. Let the skewers rest on a platter for a few minutes before serving.
