  • 1/3 cup Cocoa Powder opt for unsweetened for a richer taste
  • 2 large Eggs at room temperature for proper mixing
  • 1/2 cup Flour consider gluten-free flour as a substitute
For the Mascarpone Layer
  • 1 cup Mascarpone Cheese can be substituted with cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Espresso Powder substitute with finely ground coffee if necessary
For Topping
  • 2 tablespoons Cocoa Powder a finishing touch for beautiful presentation

Method
 

Making the Brownies
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the brownie pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then remove from heat and stir in the sugar and cocoa powder until smooth.
  4. Beat in eggs one by one, then fold in flour until just combined.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Combine mascarpone cheese and espresso powder until smooth.
  7. Spread the mascarpone mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving. Use a hot knife for clean cuts.
