Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Mash about 3–4 very ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Add melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and ground cinnamon to the mashed bananas. Stir until combined.
- Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Don't overmix.
- For the streusel topping, mix flour and sugar, then cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle the streusel topping over the batter.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
