  1. Begin by shaping your ground beef into evenly sized patties, about 1-inch thick. Season generously with salt, pepper, and any preferred spices for extra flavor. Set aside while heating the skillet.
  2. In a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, add a drizzle of olive oil and allow it to heat until shimmering. Carefully place the patties in the skillet, searing for about 3-4 minutes on each side until a brown crust forms.
  3. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface until it’s about 12 inches in diameter. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza stone. Pre-bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 5-7 minutes.
