Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press into a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes and let it cool.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar, eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and melted chocolate. Mix until smooth.
  4. Blend fresh strawberries, a bit of sugar, and lemon juice until smooth for the strawberry swirl.
  5. Pour the chocolate cheesecake filling onto the cooled crust. Drop spoonfuls of strawberry puree and swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the edges are set and the center jiggles slightly. Turn off the oven and cool inside for 1 hour.
  7. After cooling, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
  8. Remove from pan, slice with a sharp knife, and optionally garnish with whipped cream or chocolate shavings.
