  5. Whisk together the ground nuts, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl, then fold this mixture into the wet ingredients.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack for final cooling.
