  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Optional; adds tang.
For the Finishing Touch
  • 1 large Egg For wash; whisk lightly before brushing.
  • 1 tablespoon Flour For dusting the work surface.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Cut the pastry into four equal squares.
  4. On one half of each square, add a slice of chicken ham and a portion of cheddar cheese.
  5. Fold the other half over the filling to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with whisked egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
