Step-by-Step Instructions for Hot Honey Garlic Wings
  1. Start by marinating your chicken wings in a large bowl with your favorite hot sauce, minced garlic, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Let them soak in the flavors for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight for best results.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix equal parts flour and cornstarch. Beat an egg in another bowl. Dredge each marinated wing in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then dip into the egg to create a double coating.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the coated wings in batches. Cook the wings for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, butter, minced garlic, and hot sauce. Stir gently and simmer for about 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  5. Place the crispy wings in a large bowl. Pour the warm sauce over the wings and toss gently to coat. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces.
