  • 2 lbs Shrimp (16-20 sized) deveined and butterflied
For the Filling
  • 8 oz Crab Meat optional, substitute with chopped cooked shrimp
  • 1 cup Cooked Spinach use frozen, well-drained
  • 6 oz Artichokes, chopped drained if canned or frozen
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise can substitute with sour cream or cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard yellow mustard can serve as a substitute
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce omit if necessary
  • 1/2 cup Italian Breadcrumbs
  • 8 oz Cheese (e.g., mozzarella and pepper jack) choose your favorite melting cheese
  • 1 tbsp Minced Garlic fresh is flavorful
  • 1 tsp Dried Herbs use your favorites
For Seasoning
  • 2 tsp Smoked Paprika regular paprika makes a fine substitute
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil melted butter can be used instead
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning omit if you don’t have it
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
For Finishing Touches
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice fresh lemon is preferable
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter be cautious with salted butter
  • 1 tsp Fresh Dill, chopped omit if not available

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the deveined and butterflied shrimp by placing them in a large bowl and drizzling with olive oil. Season with smoked paprika, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  3. In another bowl, mix crab meat, cooked spinach, chopped artichokes, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, cheese, minced garlic, dried herbs, lemon juice, and zest until well combined.
  4. Stuff each butterflied shrimp with the filling, pressing gently. Arrange them on a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until shrimp are opaque and topping is golden.
  6. Melt unsalted butter in a small saucepan. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in chopped dill once off the heat.
  7. Drizzle garlic butter over baked shrimp and serve.
