Preparation Steps
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Peel the bananas and slice them lengthwise, optionally cutting into thirds or quarters.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey or maple syrup, and ground cinnamon.
- Brush the butter mixture on both sides of the banana slices generously.
- Place the coated banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes, checking for golden-brown color.
- Carefully remove the bananas and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with ice cream or drizzled with honey.
