Cooking Steps
- Start by boiling water in a medium saucepan and add the fresh eggs, cooking for exactly 6 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to an ice bath to stop the cooking process for about 5–10 minutes.
- Crack and peel the cooled eggs under running water.
- Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, chili, and sesame oil in a mixing bowl until blended.
- Place peeled eggs in an airtight container and pour the marinade over them. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
- Serve the eggs halved, garnished with green onions and optional chili oil.
