  • ½ teaspoon Cream of Tartar Optional

  • 1 cup Whipped Cream
  • 1 cup Fresh Berries Strawberries or blueberries
  • powdered sugar for dusting Sprinkle before serving

Method
 

Cake Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round 9-inch cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, sift together cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together egg yolks, yogurt, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the yogurt mixture and then gently fold in egg whites.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-35 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
