Ingredients
  

For the Steak
  • 1 pound Sirloin Steak Tender and flavorful
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For marinating
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano Or fresh herbs (use more)
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme Or fresh herbs (use more)

  • to taste Black Pepper
For the Grain Base
  • 3 cups Cooked Grains (Brown Rice/Quinoa/Cauliflower Rice) Healthy carbs
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Halved
  • 1 cup Cucumber Diced
  • 1/2 small Red Onion Sliced
  • 1/2 cup Kalamata Olives Pitted
  • 1/2 cup Feta Cheese Crumble or use dairy-free alternative
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (Parsley/Dill) Chopped
For the Tzatziki
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Or coconut yogurt for dairy-free
  • 1/2 cup Grated Cucumber
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced, optional
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil Drizzle

Method
 

Marinating and Preparing
  1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Whisk until well blended. Coat the sirloin steak thoroughly with the marinade and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and olive oil. Stir until well combined and refrigerate.
Cooking and Assembling
  1. Heat skillet over medium-high heat, add a splash of olive oil. Sear marinated sirloin steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  2. Assemble the bowl by layering cooked grains, sliced steak, fresh toppings, tzatziki, and drizzle with lemon vinaigrette.
