  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste for a well-rounded flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste for a well-rounded flavor.
For Cooking
  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Choose homemade or high-quality store-bought sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Avocado oil can be a substitute for a higher smoke point.
  • 10 pieces Toothpicks or Kitchen Twine To secure the roll properly for cooking.

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lay the pounded flank steak flat and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, ricotta, parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic, basil, and parsley.
  4. Spread the filling evenly over the beef, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Roll the steak tightly and secure with toothpicks or twine.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the braciole until golden brown.
  7. Pour marinara sauce over the top, cover, and transfer to the oven.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  9. Remove from the oven, rest for 5-10 minutes, slice, and serve over marinara sauce.
