  • 12 cookies Mini OREO Cookies to use as hats; can alternate with dark chocolate wafers

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese with crushed OREO cookies until smooth.
  2. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined pan.
  3. Freeze truffles for at least 20 minutes until firm.
  4. Melt the candy coating in 30-second intervals in a microwave until smooth.
  5. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted candy coating and let excess drip off.
  6. While wet, decorate each truffle with Mini OREO as a hat and use icing for facial features.
  7. Chill decorated truffles in the fridge for about 15 minutes to set.
  8. Arrange truffles on a platter and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
