- Start by patting dry your corn kernels with paper towels, ensuring they’re not overly wet.
- In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder. Whisk these dry ingredients together.
- Place a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil along with a pat of butter. Heat for about 2 minutes.
- Add the prepared corn to the skillet, and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the top. Stir gently to coat.
