Preparation
- Thoroughly wash and dry your fresh blackberries, setting aside a few for garnish later.
- In a blender, combine the prepared blackberries, full-fat coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, honey or sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
- Taste the blackberry mixture and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more honey or sugar.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow container, cover tightly, and freeze for at least 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, check the frozen mixture for solid consistency and break into manageable chunks for churning.
- Place chunks into the Ninja Creami canister and churn on the Ice Cream setting for 1-2 minutes.
- If the mixture appears crumbly, re-blend for another minute for a creamier texture.
- Serve immediately for a soft texture, or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for 2 hours for a firmer ice cream.
- Garnish with reserved blackberries before serving.
