Instructions for Making Pecan Pie Crescents
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and optional cinnamon. Stir until thick and sticky.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles without reshaping.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Starting from the wide end, roll the triangle towards the tip, tucking in the sides to seal.
- Place the rolled crescents on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the crescents to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Optional: Drizzle a simple glaze of powdered sugar and milk over warm crescents before serving.
