Instructions for Making Pecan Pie Crescents
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and optional cinnamon. Stir until thick and sticky.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles without reshaping.
  4. Place about 1 tablespoon of the pecan mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll the triangle towards the tip, tucking in the sides to seal.
  6. Place the rolled crescents on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow the crescents to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
