Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell peppers; cook for about 5-6 minutes until tender. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds.
- Add 2 pounds of ground beef to the skillet and break it up as it cooks, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 7-8 minutes, then drain excess fat.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce and mix well. Add 8 ounces of cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and layer with 8 ounces of provolone cheese and 1.5 cups of mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 22-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
