Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by boiling 2 cups of water in a kettle or saucepan. Once boiling, pour the hot water into a large pitcher and add 2 black tea bags. Let them steep for about 10 minutes, then remove the bags.
- While the tea is steeping, dice one ripe mango and set it aside. In a separate saucepan, add the remaining 2 cups of water along with the diced mango. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the mango to create a smooth puree.
- Strain the mango puree into the pitcher with the brewed tea using a fine mesh strainer. Stir gently to combine.
- Add 2 tablespoons of honey to the mixture and stir until dissolved, adjusting sweetness as desired.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature for about 10-15 minutes. Serve over ice in tall glasses, garnished with fresh mango slices.
