Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and slice 8 ounces of cremini mushrooms and cut 1 cup of broccoli into small florets. Mince 2 cloves of garlic and chop 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme leaves.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 1-2 minutes. Add the sliced mushrooms and arrange them in a single layer. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add the 1 cup of broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir gently to combine, and sauté for another 5-7 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp and bright green.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and chopped thyme, sauté for an additional minute. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice before serving.
