Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Authentic Kong Sik Nai Cha
  1. Pour 1.5 liters of water into a medium saucepan and boil over high heat for 8-10 minutes.
  2. Once boiling, add the English Breakfast, Ceylon Orange Pekoe, and Earl Grey tea bags. Reduce the heat to a low simmer and steep for 20 minutes.
  3. After simmering, remove from heat and cover for an additional 10 minutes.
  4. Carefully strain the tea into a large measuring cup or bowl using a fine cloth or strainer.
  5. Pour about 1/4 cup of evaporated milk into each serving cup, then fill with the brewed tea.
  6. Add caster sugar to taste and stir until dissolved.
