Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Pizza Eggs
- Begin by heating a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Evenly spread a layer of reduced-fat cheese in the bottom of the pan, allowing it to melt and lightly crisp for about 2-3 minutes.
- While the cheese is melting, crack the eggs into a bowl. Using a whisk or fork, vigorously mix the eggs until they are smooth and slightly frothy.
- Once the cheese is melted to your liking, pour the whisked eggs directly over the melted cheese in the pan. Cover the pan and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
- After the eggs have set, carefully use a spatula to flip the egg-cheese base. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until both sides are golden.
- Spread a layer of passata over the flipped egg, followed by salami slices and any additional toppings. Top with the remaining cheese and cover for another 2-3 minutes.
- Once the cheese is melted, gently slide your Pizza Eggs onto a plate. Sprinkle with mixed herbs and serve immediately.
